  this job involved running main-event bingo sessions, entertaining the customers whilst driving sales for the higher-margin table top games. During my time at Gala, I also qualified as a treasurer for the club. This role involved balancing money for all departments within the club. This included the bars, restaurant, bingo hall and gaming machines involving many thousands of pounds. This also included the responsibility of authorising cash orders and deliveries from third party sources. Before leaving Gala to work for TUI, I was successful in an internal national program to find and develop people with leadership abilities for a new training manager role. Before starting this role however a new opportunity arose which involved working overseas.
