  I started working at East Georgia Regional April 2019 as a phlebotomist. Where i used my 12yrs(5 of which I was a supervisor with 3 techs and 1 front desk staff) of experience as a lab tech at the Florida Department of Health. To help me step into the role as a Lead Phlebotomist in August of 2021. With now 3 full-time night tech and 1 prn. I make sure that each tech ensure all the critical floors/er/cath lab are taken care of. Next are the other floors for them then for the on coming shift. I cancel duplicate labs,reorder, contact Physician if told to just to make them aware to check on the lab,fax orders,track specimens,etc.Draw labs,complete ALC. Show less
