Leo worked for TNO Behaviour and Societal Sciences as a research scientist in the Training and Performance Innovation department. Here we investigate and create new innovative solutions that improve training and assessment of people using state-of-the-art virtual and augmented environments and personal learning assistance. At TNO, Leo developed a multi-agent platform for SCORM compliant training and assessment in live and simulated environments. In 2009, Leo also started a PhD project on Neural-Symbolic Cognitive Agents that can be used for human behaviour modeling. Show less

Leo worked on several projects in Space, Defense and Transport, like a security system for the Dutch railways, 3D Battlefield simulation, Virtual Shop Tooling and MMI development for mobile devices. The last two years I was a System Integrator at Siemens VDO for various navigation systems. There I implemented a new integration and test process which enabled Siemens VDO to meet its delivery deadlines and improve the stability of the software development process.
