  Future Networks is facilitating the growth of innovative web 3 / blockchain based companies that use a novel approach to disrupting archaic and/or monopolised industries - Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN). The DePIN space is a fast growing sector of the blockchain economy, and involves building networks of hardware which utilise blockchain and crypto technology. The idea is simple - people deploy hardware and form part of that network of physical infrastructure, facilitating the network's existence & expansion. By forming a node in the network, they are rewarded with the project's crypto token on an ongoing basis. We find the best DePIN projects and deploy their hardware en-mass. Simultaneously, we help everyday people and businesses leverage their assets (from cars to properties) to earn extra income, at no extra cost, by maintaining DePIN hardware. We provide the hardware for free, and split the rewards. Examples include: - Helium - a decentralised radio based wireless network used to 1) connect IoT devices and 2) provide hyper local 5G coverage where there is currently no coverage from the bigger carriers, and; https://www.helium.com/ - Hivemapper - a network of dashcams installed in peoples' cars which map the roads as you drive, with the imagery collected being used to create a constantly refreshed, 4k resolution street level alternative to Google maps. https://hivemapper.com/ ....The DePIN approach works well in industries with large barriers to entry due to the sheer cost of building vast physical infrastructure networks - incentivise the people to build the network for you while letting them own part of (and benefit financial from the success of) the network through holding the token!
