Lead public awareness campaigns engaging public, organisations and statutory sector. Manage £2.4m budget and 68 staff across 13 locations around England, Wales and Northern Ireland.Lead the biggest health social movement campaign delivered by 10,000 volunteers that has recruited 2 million individuals through a community, digital and corporate offer. Launched campaign functions with hard hitting integrated cross-function campaigns underpinned by new policy evidence that secured national broadcast and media coverage and successfully achieved commitments from government. Though digital engagement the campaigns increased number of campaigners from under 10,000 to more than 90,000 and through internal mobilisation campaigns over three quarters of Alz Soc staff participated.Led public affairs engagement expanding network of Parliamentarians in England, Wales and Northern Ireland engaging over half of politicians a year in each of those chambers. Establishing the Houses of Parliament as the world’s first dementia friendly parliament. Seconded to project manage Dementia Friends campaign partnership with Public health England, including developing partnerships with national organisations such as M&S, launching television advertising and a new digital dementia friends offer and a Parliamentary engagement programme with support from the then PM, Deputy PM and Leader of the Opposition. It resulted in more than 200,000 signing up to the programme and more than 500,000 watched the YouTube film. Established a new Global Dementia and Alzheimer’s Action Alliance – a global membership organisation - launched by health ministers from UK, Canada and Mauritius at an event at the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
