In this highly diverse role, I work across external and internal communications, PR and media relations, marketing and social media. The essence of my role is about story-telling - to produce content and assets that have a grounded purpose and inspire. The concept of Superannuation is a hard product to 'sell' to the masses, particularly the younger audiences who are more disengaged when it comes to a future that seems so far away. The strategy here is to be creative yet factual through the use of various mediums that talk to the various facets of life (and tie it in with the product of super). It's a challenging gig but extremely rewarding when it comes to delivering content to audiences which they find informative, educational, and entertaining.

In a very specialised role in corporate communications, I had a lot of exposure to the media which I collaborated with to offer stories, angles and whitepapers. It was a very PR and media relations - centric role that built up my confidence in understanding the media and journalist's audiences to deliver content that was highly engaging and topical to the public. I have a wide and varied role at Fitch which includes Media Relations, PR, Internal and External Communications, Events Management, Ratings, Publishing and Editing. As a global organisation, I also perform these functions within the Asia-Pacific region. As both the Editor and Publisher for Australia, I over-see Fitch's external communications and press releases from start to end. I successfully manage Fitch's PR activities by delivering and promoting its valuable products and opinions to investors and the wider public through the press and other media channels. This is further supported by managing Fitch's events and sponsorship activities.
