As a Finance Manager at Vanpee I was a part of the management group with two people reporting to me directly. My main tasks within finance and accounting were financial reporting to the parent company and the Board, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, controlling, accounting and HR related tasks. During my time at Vanpee a new ERP system was implemented which was a major project that I was actively involved in and partially responsible for. My role as Senior Accountant at Bayer involved a lot of international contacts which I appreciated very much. Along with ongoing accounting tasks like balance reconciliations, preparations of monthly closings, legal reporting, process documentation and others I was also responsible for training the staff in one of Bayer's internal administration systems. This teaching part of my job was something that I really appreciated. My role as Senior Accountant at Bayer involved a lot of international contacts which I appreciated very much.
