  Five Valleys Land Trust is a non-profit, conservation organization founded in 1972 whose mission is to protect and preserve western Montana’s natural legacy—our river corridors, wildlife habitat, agricultural lands, and scenic open spaces. Against a backdrop of dramatic social and economic change, the bond between people and this place is the foundation for the conservation work of Five Valleys.Five Valleys works with private landowners, communities, public agencies and organizations to help ensure that the natural resources that have sustained us in the past continue to enhance our quality of life and the lives of our children.

My work has been featured in Bugle, Oval, Montana Naturalist, The Montana Journalism Review, Montana Public Radio, and through Humanities Montana.
