  K.J. Quinn began operations in 1880 in the Boston, MA area manufacturing and supplying shoe finishes to the local shoe industry. Over the years the company expanded to polymerize its own acrylics and polyurethanes for internal use, then resin manufacturing for both acrylic and polyurethane chemistry for the paint, coating and adhesive industries. This later led to TPU polymers for adhesives, injection molding and extrusion; and polyurethane coatings, adhesives and polymers.
