  My role at Impartner is a combination of UAT tester and scrum master. Day-to-day I test Impartner's newsletter and social media web platform as part of a small development team. We follow the Scrum agile development framework and I am responsible for the sprint ceremonies. My main duties are:Black box testing on a web application written in PHP. Planning and writing test cases based on user stories. Providing fast and accurate feedback about new features and logging defects in Jira. Working with developers to identify the cause of defects and testing defect fixes. Using MySQL to analyse and maintain test data. Using Postman to check Impartner's API. Collaborating with the development team in planning meetings. Helping the product manager maintain the Jira product backlog.   Nimbus were a company who developed and sold business process management (BPM) software. Nimbus was acquired by TIBCO in August 2011. My role was to create and execute tests for Nimbus' range of products including desktop,web based and mobile software. The test process involved analysing specifications and writing functional test scripts to comprehensively test the software requirements and accurately reporting any defects that were found. I worked closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure that the delivered software was of high quality. As well as manual black box testing, I also wrote and maintained automated test scripts and worked on performance and stress testing to improve the quality of Nimbus' web application. Show less
