  At UTVS, I learned how to produce and write my own sports block for our news shows. I covered sports from the high school level, College sports on campus at St. Cloud State, as well as professional sports. I learned how to make news and sports packages while doing live shots.   My job was working the 5,6, and 10 pm news shows working floor crew. Positions I worked were camera's, prompter, and graphics. I also worked as a sports photographer in the sports department, where I shot numerous high school sporting events, college sports, tournaments, NFL games and conducted interviews from the high school level to the professional level. Also learned and work with a Live U to send back game footage and interviews. Worked with iNews and avid software systems to edit my footage and would write the sports clips for the footage I was responsible for that would go on the news cast. Show less
