Assist, and lead outreach programs for different schools, churches, libraries around the 5 boroughs of New York City. Outreach involved teaching basic science, math, social studies, social skills for children ages 3- 14 years old in a fun, hands on kind of way. I was a pre-k teacher’s assistant for families where sometimes children didn’t know how to speak English. Many of the children were able to communicate in Spanish due to our teacher assistants. I was in change of school bus chaperone- ensuring the children went home with their guardians safely. Show less
