  Effectively provide triage care to patients of all ages. Identify chief complaints, if an emergency occurs, act accordingly to the protocol. Revise “provider organizer” which consists of obtaining records and requesting records. In addition, making referrals such as consults, procedures, radiology, and obtain laboratory work results. Moreover, attach incoming records to the correct referral-order for physicians to review. Check phone messages, Mail/call patient with information such as negative lab results (positive lab results to Spanish speakers with provider instructions), schedule appointments, draw blood, assist physician during procedures; such as removal of cysts, removal of Mirena, biopsies, and other procedures. Set up surgery tray. Interpret in Spanish during patient visits.   Assist, and lead outreach programs for different schools, churches, libraries around the 5 boroughs of New York City. Outreach involved teaching basic science, math, social studies, social skills for children ages 3- 14 years old in a fun, hands on kind of way. I was a pre-k teacher’s assistant for families where sometimes children didn’t know how to speak English. Many of the children were able to communicate in Spanish due to our teacher assistants. I was in change of school bus chaperone- ensuring the children went home with their guardians safely. Show less
