Working under the Director of International Services and Services to the Armed Forces, I managed the day-to-day activities of three core areas: the Restoring Family Links Program, the Measles and Rubella Initiative, and International Humanitarian Law. Restoring Family Links is a program that reconnects families that have been separated after disaster or crisis by using local Red Cross chapters and volunteer caseworkers. In this role, I managed the day-to-day case work activities and volunteers in the Los Angeles, Inyo, and Ventura areas. In addition, my role focused on working with youth volunteers in their fundraising activities for the Measles and Rubella Initiative, a global partnership of multiple organizations and agencies focused on education, prevention, and vaccine distribution.
