  Responsible for managing funding from large institutional, corporate and statutory funders for programmes across the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Grants are made to organisations that use the power of sport to focus on child poverty, education, employment, gender equality, health, violence and migration with children and young people globally. Our small team manages more than £10 million in grants across 150 grants in 40 countries. My role includes working extensively and collaboratively across different teams within the organisation with core focuses on Grant Making, Fundraising, Advocacy and Tailored Capacity Building. • Responsible for leading a small team that supports grantees through place based grant giving as well as strengthening all grant management processes and procedures for our wider global office, including programme design and implementation and applications. Responsible for developing and utilising due diligence tools around Safeguarding, Financial Audits and Governance, reporting, payments, gender mainstreaming, networking and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to advocate and evidence our partner’s impact. The role also entails developing well researched grant recommendations to our Director and Board of Trustees.• Cultivated and maximised relationships with existing donors and identifying opportunities to expand donor and partnership profiles for our global team. Overseeing management and delivery of £500,000 Comic Relief funded programme Sport For Change and arts programme. Using Sport and Art to help support overall charity aim of providing a home and a job for all homeless young people in London, Bradford and Sunderland Centrepoint services. Writing and presentation of tender opportunities that are related to the Sportswise and the Arts programme service which has resulted in over £75,000 for the arts programme. Prepare and provide high quality professional reports for internal and external stakeholders such as Comic Relief and Statoil as part of an on-going schedule of requirements, and specific reports when requested, in a timely manner. Developed a wide range of accredited sports, leisure and Arts activities for young people in collaboration cross departmentally with Heads of Service and internal staff as well as external sport, Art and health service providers. Developed strategic changes towards sports and arts programmes through implementation and recruitment of staff and volunteers which have resulted in further outcomes gained by young people such as NEET to EET figures and have bolstered the impact and value of both Sport For Change and Cre8 arts programme within a year attracting further funding and corporate partnerships. Lead on the two biggest events on the Centrepoint calendar for young people through CPGT (Centrepoints Got Talent) and Centrepoint Sports Day which requires extensive collaboration with over 1000 young people, 60+ hostels nationwide and over 300 staff including management. Recently delivered the most successfully attended events in 2016 for both events resulting in further interest from funders and a foundation for future collaboration for delivery partners in arts and sports programmes.
