Lee helped me at a difficult time achieve clarity about my business and its direction. Her ability to bring out and empower my strategic side is unique. No one achieved that before, and it is here to stay.

Lee is an incredibly insightful and wonderfully supportive person. (And a totally epic human too!) She is so generous with her time and knowledge and is able to draw on her vast experience and expertise to provide really usable and applicable gems time after time. Founders of the world would be lucky to have a person like Lee in their corner. She truly brings such value to all that she does.

I am at heart a strategist. I look at the world and look for structure, meaning and sense. Once I have this, I then adapt and move things around to create the structure that will help achieve what is needed. And I am agile – because strategy can’t wait. I do this in any number of ways: - When working with #business leaders, it is creating a strategy for survival, success and thriving; - When working with teams, it is creating a #team structure and dynamic that maximises everyone's potential and success; - When working one to one with people looking to review their #careers, it is creating a career plan that allows them to develop in the direction that feels most like success; - And when working on a #crisis strategy, it is creating an immediate assessment and action plan to be implemented straight away. On one level, none of these have anything in common. But by taking it up a level, there is a simplicity to the value I offer. And I love it. Get in touch how I can reframe your strategy and power up your business. ** E2E Ambassador at E2E ** Orpington 1st BID Business Support Partner ** Birmingham Enterprise Community Mentor ** Founder Friend with SeedReady ** Partnership with Kaiku ** Virgin Startup Mentor ** Mentor with The Youth Group ** Mentor with RB Inspire ** GC Partner with The GC Index ** Young Person Index accredited facilitator ** Top50 Advisor 2020, Enterprise Nation ** Assoc CIPD ** Coaching qualification from The Coaching Academy Featured in: The Metro, Business Daily, London Loves Business, LBC, Business Breakout, Entrepreneur Way, Hiscox, Virgin Small Business 25 years in Financial Services / Technology, holding COO / Chief of Staff positions 16 years as a professional coach Show less

    • Head of Service Delivery, Business Services
      • Dec 2000 - May 2006

Was Head of Service Delivery for the Business Support division of Barclays Capital IT Organisation. This involved the managing of projects (short and long term), dealing with customer service issues, managing a team of 15 people. It also required me to manage budgetary constraints. The role frequently put me in front of the top executives of the Bank and as such I have no issue dealing with any level of an organisation. • I worked in the IT COO Office in 2005 delivering process changes in a uniform and logical manner. This includes processes that are internal to that office, and also those that impact the way we conduct business. Included in this was digital signing and authorisation routes, to speed up approval processes, whilst meeting compliance requirements. • In June 2003 I became Head of Business Services Operations, which is responsible for the management of the desktop environment, both for control of the infrastructure and financial controls. • My work included management of several desktop budgets, including the purchase of IT consumables, product supply and hardware maintenance. • I also managed the software used in the company, ensuring the correct licences are purchased for our usage. This is to introduce a fuller investigation of licence management within our infrastructure. • I was also responsible for authorising desktop purchases on behalf of the company, managing the£2million budget allocated to these items (owned by my senior manager). This would include obtaining adequate business justification for the purchase, approval from the correct signatory and suggesting alternatives that were more cost effective. • I have participated in online auctioning of IT consumables, which allowed a £380K yearly saving to be achieved. • I worked extremely closely with Procurement, as the desktop budget (including headcount budgeting) was one of the biggest in our environment.
