Managing, undertaking and coordination of Wing audits across 2 Squadrons. Analysis and continuous improvement of extant processes including analysis of issues to enable the safe and effective drawdown of Depth Support Wing prior to introduction of F-35 Lightning II at Marham. All whilst maintaining viable output to satisfy contractual obligations to industry partners.NOTABLE PROJECTS..Lead the Wing Manpower Review across 3 Squadrons to ascertain and rationise manpower against engineering output. Developed and proofed a fully working mathematical model which provided sound manpower assurances against draw down predictions with risk area analysis and mitigation plan.Wing Support Cell rationalisation; an analysis of manpower output against daily, weekly and monthly tasks across 3 Squadrons. Rationalisation of workload, including ethical considerations, in order to provide engineering manpower to high risk areas for Tornado OSD.As the Wing QSC, I've lead the Wing Quality Management System through a Command External Quality Audit with an exceptionally positive outcome.Awarded a Station Commander's Commendation for analysis work creating a model to provide assurance of Tornado GR Force manpower drawdown.Lead a high profile Hawk aircraft Continuous Improvement event which identified hidden opportunities for improvement of platform processes. The improvements have improved platform safety, reliability and personnel engagement.

Writing of mid-term and annual appraisals.This was a temporary post as my expertise was required elsewhere. However, in my 4 month tenure I introduced in robust procedures for personnel training, issues analysis and business continuity to ensure that my replacement succeeded in the role.

ISO9000/9001:2008 compliant quality auditing satisfying all criteria in the Military Airworthiness Publication. Management of Quality Occurence reporting including tracking and briefings to high level management.Part of a team consisting of 5 NCOs with direct line manager responsibilities for 2 corporals including appraisal writing, discipline and welfare. Debriefing of senior wing management post statistical analysis with use of Microsoft PowerPoint. Identification of Wing Quality issues and responsibility for process improvement.Primary role includes identification of engineering vulnerabilities including process failures within the Wing and subsequent facilitation of Continuous Improvement events to address these issues. Using Lean Sigma and Six Sigma tools, all events have a considerable positive impact including cost and man hours savings through removal of nugatory work.Associated duties include carrying out and leading teams to carry out risk based internal quality audits (IQAs) for the Station. Supervisory responsibility of RAF and civilian personnel as engineering team leader. 2nd signatory on all aircraft paperwork.Designed and implemented a full maintenance procedure to enable the full strip and rebuild of a particular aircraft structure. This procedure was subsequently published by the Tornado Design Authority and is regularly followed.

Tornado GR4 electrical systems SME working alongside the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) to maintain the GR4 fleet. I hold a delegated Letter of Airworthiness Authority (LoAA) from the Type Airworthiness Authority for the weapons and electrical aspects of the Tornado GR4 aircraft. A privileged position for a SNCO. Liaison with NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA) for international implement of Technical Orders and Warnings on the global Tornado fleet. Liaison with the contractors, equipment OEM and the Design Organisation (BAE SYSTEMS) for all aspects of platform risk and safety. Assessment of airworthiness risk including fault tree analysis and technical in depth risk analysis. Ultimate responsibility for investigation and closing of of Aviation Safety Occurrence Reports (ASORs) for the aircraft electrical systems.

Whilst on the Sqn designed and implemented the Mechanical Transport Management Database using SQL and Microsoft Access.
