Nearly every semester I teach Biology 103 which emphasizes cell biology and genetics. I have also taught Biology 104 which emphasizes evolutionary mechanisms and surveys the six kingdoms of living organisms. As an Adjunct Instructor of Social Science, I have taught Introduction to Anthropology and Introduction to Archaeology.       I graduated from the Montgomery Police Academy in December of 1999 after 12 weeks of minimum standards training and served as an Alabama Peace Officer wile on duty at forensic crime scenes. I was responsible for mapping, sketching, and photographing crime scenes. I also recorded and packaged evidence in accordance with forensic chain of custody procedures. In the laboratory, I was responsible for examination and testing of forensic evidence for the presence of semen and blood stains for later chemical analysis. I generated forensic DNA fingerprints from forensic stains using short tandem repeat (STR) analysis for identification of suspects and victims of murder and sexual assault cases. All data was carefully recorded and used to generate reports that could be used in later court testimony. Show less
