I learned safety at a fast-paced chemical railyard plant that allowed me to develop skills that I could use in any industry. Through working at the plant I was able to learn Safe Work Authorization permits and Lock Out Tag Out procedures. In my time at the chemical plant, we did not have a single OSHA recordable and won a company award of safe railroading for the year 2020.
