As a member of the diesel fuel pump validation, team my responsibilities were to support multiple validation engineers across multiple products. Achieved through hands-on disassembly of fuel pumps post testing documenting condition, ensuring validation targets were met and delivered to the customer as scheduled. • Evaluated and recorded condition of diesel fuel pumps after validation testing across multiple different testing procedures. • Responded to testing failures and performed on test rig investigations on the status of fuels pumps to determine suitability to continue testing. • Liaised across departments to organized specialist testing work and analysis, required to generate testing summary reports. • Trained student engineers on day-to-day validation tasks and responsibilities for the role.
