  Working within the Rosyth facility as a Coded Welder, my duties included the fabrication and welding of pipework assemblies for various applications within the Nuclear Energy, Petrochemical/Oil, Energy Generation and Pharmaceutical industries. Quality of our work was paramount and was completed following company weld procedures whilst adhering to strict health and safety regulations, ensuring our work was delivered accurately first time, causing no risk/harm to ourselves, others or the environment. I was working with various materials including carbon, chrome and stainless steels (304, 316, paralloy, inconel, duplex, hastelloy and 18/10.) ranging from pipe diameter ¼ inch up to 48 inch with a variety of different wall thicknesses. During my time with Isleburn I worked on various projects for clients such as; Woodgroup, BP, Petro China, Doosan Power Systems, Costain, Syngenta UK and Glaxo Smith & Kline. Also fabricating & welding 18/10 grade Stainless Steel Modules for Sellafield Nuclear Facility.These Modules are fabricated and finished to BNFL specification 0339_1. Show less
