Administrative Assistant, Office of Internship Programs & Curricular Integration

Jan 2018 - Present
My time is divided between the Internship Program and Curricular Integration. In both roles I hire student workers, creating positions of responsibility and growth; use creative means to minimize spending and maximize impact; represent the offices university wide.At Lasell University, 100% of the students experience at least one internship. The OIP supports the Internship Coordinators through all majors. I produce year end internship reports for various internal departments; manage the summer stipend awarding 10-$3000 stipends to students; create content and update internal and external pages on Lasell's websites; meet with students to plan their internship.Through the Curricular Integration Office I manage the Connected Learning Symposium, held fall and spring semesters, updating marketing, presentation formatting, increasing traffic, awareness, and excitement of event. Beginning this year I am a member of the Davis Educational Foundation Committee project: Career Readiness through Connected Learning. One of the missions of the DEF committee is to reimagine the fall symposium into the career readiness symposium. Through the Curricular Integration Office I also support the onboarding and training of adjunct professors and the Teaching and Learning Center. Show less
