The concept was pretty simple; one person needed something and would offer up an exchange, hence the name Swap Shop. Over 40 years later, modernised for the 21 st Century, the Derby Swap Shop has been created. Inspired by an Idea from Tracy Harrison, CEO of Derby’s Safe and Sound Group, the Derby community quickly pulled together to create the online Swap Shop led by Rachel Hayward of the award-winning, bid writing consultancy service that is Ask the Chameleon. Rachel quickly reached out to others in the Derby business community and pulled together the team behind Derby Swap Shop. This includes the founder, owner and CEO of the internationally recognised, Derby-based sports apparel brand Huub and Derby based Creative Agency think3. Show less
