Working front line ambulance duties covering south of England under South Coast Ambulance service and now East of England Ambulance service... Providing critical emergency health care. The office travels around the country taking in the beautiful scenery with the added excitement of blue lights & sirens to move traffic from out path. Plenty of excitement and variety to keep the brain busy.. UK specialist Ambulance service is a private ambulance provider working for trusts all over the south of England providing crucial cover to the NHS. The qualifications and ambulances are no different from that the NHS have & use and private providers like UKSAS help the NHS meet its targets & of course help save lives.. Show less

TPT officer As a TPT officer (targeted patrol team) my duties were mainly dealing with 999 calls in the north west of Hampshire, After passing my exams at Netley I went out on shift in Yateley, A small but homely police station.. my main duties were responding to 999 calls from Charlie wun and dealing with offenders/suspects on my account.. Investigating all kinds of things from theft to racial and sexual abuse.. Far to many to list! Dealing with members of the public in need of help and tackling crime and trying to provide a visible deterrent... Mostly dealing with missing persons and domestic violence (surprised at how much people dislike each other yet decide to live / spend their lives with that person) Unfortunately had to leave due to medical reasons, considering the time, effort & hard work that went into learning the law, police policy & procedure & passing exams I was extremely disappointed to leave but have a glowing reference from the Chief Superintendent at Netley. Everyone involved in my time with the police have my gratitude, I was made to feel like part of the family and have many fond memories... Show less
