Furthermore, I have been appointed as a Court appointed Expert, acted as a Sole Arbitrator and a DRB Board Member. I trained as a Quantity Surveyor with Costains before moving to a senior position with Balfour Beatty in the UK. I then moved to the UAE with Laing O’Rourke where my focus was on claims preparation. For the past 18 years I have focused on claims preparation, defence, arbitration and expert witness work. Recently I ran the the claims and expert witness businesses in the Middle East for a large multinational consultancy. This included managing 160 staff members with a focus on business development and staff development. I have a track record of growing successful businesses and nurturing and developing staff.
