  Nexus Mutual is a decentralized alternative to insurance that gives people a way to hedge against the unique risks present in on-chain markets. The mutual gives individuals, institutions, and DAOs exposure to high yields and minimized exposure to risk. More than $7.2m in claims have been paid to date. Members protect more than $290m in productive digital assets with coverage from Nexus Mutual. 👉 Head of Communications After contributing as a member of the mutual, I created Nexus Communications–the in-house agency that works on behalf of mutual members. We use the OKR methodology to establish quarterly and bi-annual goals for our department. In my role, I manage the following efforts: 💬 Social media communications The mutual uses several social media channels to communicate with institutions and individuals active within the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Every week, I coordinate with the team to write timely copy that is distributed across Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and Substack. 🔨 Product marketing The Nexus Mutual core team is working on bringing the first decentralized on-chain market for risk to market. I meet with the team on a weekly basis to develop the marketing efforts leading up to the launch of Nexus V2. 🤝 Partnership development In August 2021, I launched the Nexus Embassy initiative to develop partnerships with our listed protocols. Through this effort and outreach, I have cultivated strong partnerships with protocols operating within DeFi. ✍️ Content marketing, copywriting In addition to the above, I write copy for all of our marketing efforts. I maintain the mutual’s documentation and conduct content marketing campaigns to create greater awareness about the benefits Nexus Mutual offers users who are active on-chain. Show less
