Served on the training team. Taught 40+ social media classes (Google docs, LinkedIn, and Twitter). Founding member of the VAST accountability group. Led the Science & Engineering Roundtable (SERT) during the three different times through Career Prospectors. The SERT 2018/2019 group has 50 members. We organized 7 on-site tours with local companies/agencies and had 4 featured speakers. We are planning an industry networking social in 2019. Our SERT group had 30+ members in 2017 . We organized site tours and networking opportunities. From May 2016-May 2017, we visited 14 local businesses in the consulting/manufacturing/engineering fields, and held three networking socials that individually attracted over 50 science & engineering folks. In January & April, featured speakers shared industry insight. 20 members found jobs in the science & engineering field from May 2016 to May 2017. In 2015, served as the training director. I organized training classes that benefited more than 300 members. Classes were designed to improve online skills in LinkedIn and Twitter. Increased the numbers of classes and participants by over 100% from prior years; served on the leadership team for 2015 RVA Career Expo job fairs, the premier job career fair for the Richmond metropolitan area; co-founded and facilitated the Science and Engineering Round table and the Northside Accountability Group.
