I had the good fortune of having Leanne in my team while she was responsible for GSK portfolio of vaccines in DTP, Polio and Neisseria where she delivered outstanding performance. She leads on content, leveraging her breadth of business and commercial management experience and her science background: on the ground expertise in sales, regulatory affairs, global marketing, pricing, health economics and a the ability to take the long view in terms of strategy. She inspires her team: humble and with a great sense of humour, she knows how to bring the sun into her team and get them super engaged to deliver to their best. Finally, she leads through character and I saw her adapt very adapt quickly to a number of challenges, for instance when competition launched an unforeseen vaccine in Europe: Within weeks, Leanne developed a robust defense strategy based on deep insights about what drives adoption in this class of vaccines, and 2 years later, competition was still contained 2x below the most optimistic scenarios in terms of market share with minimal price erosion. I'd really welcome the opportunity to work with Leanne again!
