  News Explorer Project: A website where users can search recent news articles by keyword and save them to a profile for later viewing. Front-end features developed using JavaScript, React and CSS providing a responsive user experience for multiple client platforms. Back-end sign-up/sign-in API developed using Node.js and Express with MongoDB providing persistent profile storage. Interfaced with 3rd-party news API for search functionality. Around the U.S. Project: A website where users can add photos to their own profile and “like” photos from other users, similar in functionality to many popular social media sites. Front-end features developed using HTML and CSS, implementing additional JavaScript and React to provide a persistent interactive experience. Back-end sign-up/sign-in API developed using Node.js, Express with a multi-user database provided by MongoDB. From Portland to Portland: An example website showcasing a travel blogger’s progress across the USA. Built using HTML and CSS to be a beautiful viewing experience on any device. Show less
