  This was a three month internship working within the administration department of Liverpool Hope University. The project I was working on was a national playwriting competition ran by Liverpool Hope University and in association with the Royal Court Liverpool and the Liverpool Echo. This project allowed me to work independently at times as well as correspondence with other departments within the university. I developed new skills in marketing via social media and using my communication skills to progress further with the project whilst networking to further my career within the theatre and creative arts industry. I also got to develop my research skills further looking for advice and academic journals to help possible entries with their writing skills and techniques whilst furthering my own knowledge of the theatre industry.
