I had the opportunity to work alongside Leah while at the International Rescue Committee. Leah had the unique ability to collaborate with various departments at the IRC, with the utmost determination and focus. Steadfast in the IRC’s mission to make the refugee population financially stable and resilient, Leah went beyond the scope of her role by calling multiple local businesses and compiled information on current live hires in and around the city of San Diego. Leah has assisted multiple clients complete job applications, prepare for job interviews, and attended job fairs on the IRC’s behalf. I am lucky to have worked with Leah. Through her, I learned what it takes to be successful at helping others.
