My third clinical rotation took place in a private outpatient orthopedic practice where I assumed 100% of my supervising therapist's case load. During my time at CBPT I was challenged daily by my CI to reach a new goal to make me a better clinician, learned how to communicate with other disciplines in an outpatient setting, and became adept at working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining good patient care. My second clinical experience took place at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. In this setting I evaluated, treated, and carried out a plan of care for each patient on my caseload. I took 100% of my supervising therapist's caseload and worked closely with a care team consisting of occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, attending physician, and any other medical personnel required to provide the best care for each patient. My caseload consisted of neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac, and other diagnoses. Show less

My first clinical rotation took place in an outpatient orthopedic setting in which I honed my skills in performing efficient and effective subjective and objective exams and became comfortable with determining a PT diagnosis and developing a plan of care for each patient. I saw patients of all ages and diagnoses but the majority of my caseload was post-TKA surgery.
