I am the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer who oversees more than a dozen city shelters and over a dozen shelter and housing programs in the Westchester County. I am responsible for keeping the whole team on track and best ready to serve our clients. This job sees me involved in all aspects of the organization, from scheduling, accounts payable, to monitoring and tracking large scale projects for presentation to the CEO and Board. The position comes with a large degree of responsibility, something that I readily embrace, and requires great precision, which I happily bring from many years of experience. Show less

Executive Assistant To Chief Executive Officer
-
Jul 2017 - Oct 2020
Executive Assistant to the CEO- Sheltering Arms has more than 50 program sites providing an array of children and family services. I assisted both the CEO and her Senior Executive team in all day-to-day operations of the company, which employs more than 1,000 staff. I worked here for many years and earned great respect, becoming the right hand of the Executive Team. I was involved in all aspects of administrative work from high-pressure scheduling with large numbers of attendees, to preparing all staff emails to be sent out by the CEO, to trouble shooting issues at a moments notice. My work was often sensitive and confidential, being heavily involved in preparing materials and communications for the Board of Directors or Government officials. I also served as the VJ or host of all virtual events when the company went remote during the height of the COVID epidemic, garnering a positive recognition amongst my peers for leading fun and interesting virtual events for hundreds of staff on Zoom. I left this job having made the position into something more than it was previously, and I pride myself on my close involvement with the work of the company and the respect I earned from the CEO and other executives.
