As a Built Green 2016 summer intern, I worked directly under Leah's supervision. Not only is Leah a motivational, effective, and insightful manager but she also brings genuine enthusiasm to the projects she works on. I was truly inspired by Leah's big picture and long-term vision for Built Green, as well as her desire to create positive impacts in the environmental realm. Leah has a profound sensitivity to the strengths and weaknesses of those around her and takes every opportunity to play to people's strengths. As an intern, I was given an incredible amount of flexibility and options as to what projects I wanted to focus on and how I spent my time. Leah went out of her way to make sure that my internship was a true learning experience. She does similar acts of compassion and consideration for all of those she works with. An articulate writer and an engaging conversationalist, Leah is a natural communicator and net-worker. Her strong moral values and desire to be fair in combination with her intelligence and problem-solving capabilities make her someone I would trust completely as a manger, as well as with other tasks.

Leah is an extremely effective and confidant program manager. She is smart, inspirational and knowledgeable and has a talent for making the complex easy to understand and accessible. She’s a dedicated professional who is a natural leader with the insight required to take on increasingly responsible leadership roles as she moves forward in her career. Leah is great to work with – she’s a true team player and is respected by everyone in her group.
