Bio
Christopher Etzel
Leah and I worked on, at the time, the largest production development project in A-dec's history. As the project manager, I sought out Leah's skills to be the Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer. Leah brought a wealth of skills, experiences and abilities in the NPI discipline to the project. She helped me understand the challenges of the NPI team, as well as the resources and timelines needed. Leah was excellent in working across diverse business domains, interfacing with: Product Management, Product Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and Sales. When Leah joined the team, she had a ton of experience as an NPI engineer, but not with the product family that we were working on. She was able to quickly gain the confidence and trust of her peers as she was a quick study of the teams challenges and issues. I highly recommend Leah to any organization that would be lucky to have her. Chris Etzel Sr. Staff Manufacturing Engineer
Katie Eichelberger
Leah was my mentor at A-Dec for my first MECOP internship. She coached me during the six months and provided excellent leadership by defining my projects, connecting me with others, and patiently answering all my rookie questions. Leah took complex problems and created methods to originate solutions in a timely manner that directly related to my industry experience. The skills I learned from her on my first internship have helped me in my career and life. Leah was, and still is, an excellent mentor.

Being a startup business, I wore many hats for Virality Coffee. They included, but were not limited to, sales, delivery, process improvements, marketing, and drinking copious amounts of coffee. I worked at Virality Coffee starting about a year after having my daughter. I loved staying home with her but I felt that I needed another outlet that enabled me to use my brain and interact more with adults. It was wonderful to be able to spend time with my little one, but also be able to work part-time and keep my mind active. My goal at the company prior to leaving to move cross country with my family was to set up a functional MRP system to ease the amount of effort it took to track, summarize and analyze all the orders that were required to roast coffee each week. I relied heavily on my understanding of ERP to build a product that was appropriate for a very small company, yet would still be sustainable for them without having to do much continues maintenance.
