In this role, I conduct research for a professor who is building a bibliographic database of female writers in Canada. I use Zotero to record the works I find, and when ready, I will add the records to cwrc.ca, an online research and co-working space. This will involve cleaning up the data using an XML editor and the TEI framework.I also wrote two indexes for forthcoming books. As a practicum student at the Library for the Department of Greece and Rome, I assisted the librarian in a variety of ways. The following list is non-exhaustive, but covers a few key projects. While at the Museum, I contributed to an ongoing cataloguing and retro-conversion cataloguing project, where old records are being converted from the AACR2 standards to RDA. I also created archive records for a collection of a late curator's office materials using an international standard, and began developing another, based on original letters from the 19th Century.

In this role I have done copy-editing, general editing, work on design and layout, and I am now learning the art of indexing in order to create an index for the book. In this role I have been able to employ and develop my eye for detail; it has also allowed me to hone my time-management skills, and my ability to work well independently.
