My research focuses on the ways in which approaches to collecting 'non-digital' personal data (ie. in records and archives) in the past have influenced our attitude toward the collection, processing and analysis of digital data today, and the extent to which this has influenced different styles of urban placemaking since the COVID-19 pandemic by comparing the cities of London and Berlin.
