As an intern with Sinnissippi Centers, Inc. I see a variety of clients for therapy on-site. I am gaining experience working with children and adolescents as well as adults, and also beginning to do some couples work. In addition to this, I have the opportunity to be a part of DBT group therapy and have been trained to be respond to crisis calls in the community as well.

I completed the three year graduate Clinical/Community Mental Health Program in the Psychology department Spring of 2020. The WIU program is quite extensive, allowing for training in psychological assessments including the WAIS-IV, MCMI-IV, and various other instruments. Additionally, our program is unique in that I was able to have my own caseload of clients my second year of study as we have a free clinic for mental health services that is open to both the college and public. Additionally, during my time at WIU I worked as a Graduate Assistant to professors and had roles with research, proctoring, and department roles. I also worked as a tutor through the Rocky Resources Program, as well as acted as a Graduate Ambassador who guided prospective students and served on informational panels. Show less
