  In Foulum I ran a large project on gas chamber measurements of nitrous oxide emissions in a large field experiment. I made measurements and scheduled measurements for laboratory technicians and soil technicians. Gains and experiences: Project leading. - Knowledge on the Nitrogen balance (nitrification, denitrification etc.). - Conducting a large field experiment including 8 different crops. - Planned fertilization according to weather and crop growth. - Planned measurements due to fertilization events, soil tillage and harvest time.   I worked on a large project on apples that includeed collecting, drying and weighing the different seeds before further tests. Additionally, I collected and prepared samples for educational purposes and I assisted on experiments with horticultural crops. Gains and experiences: - Saw the generic and specific differences in horticultural crops. - Learned grafting, pruning and how to make cuttings from different plant species. At the pometum I gained experience on the practical work behind experiments on fruit trees and berry bushes. I realized how time consuming outdoor experiments can be and I learned how different agri/horticultural systems greatly affect the performance and yield of crops. Show less

  I applied for the job at Sundholm to challenge myself and because I knew, I liked working with people. It was a great learning experience and I met people with stories and backgrounds that were almost unbelievable. Gains and experiences: I learned how to handle conflicts, to leave a conflict and, most importantly, how to avoid conflicts. While working with people that could be very sensitive, I also learned how my own reactions, body language and tone could affect a situation.
