I took part in scientific and educational expedition «Dinaric karst biodiversity initiative - Course on Meditterranean Ecosystem Biodiversity» organized by Operation Wallacea and BIOTA j.d.o.o. for a week in years 2018. and 2019. Alongside senior expert I was educating students about bats by giving lectures and taking them mistnetting and collecting echolocation calls.

My loboratory traineeship lasted for a month on my third year as an ungraduate student and one month on my first year as a graduate student. My mentor was dr. sc. Martina Podnar Lešić. I worked in a DNA lab where I used the method of DNA barcoding. I also worked with Coleoptera and Lepidoptera collections and took part in fieldwork survey.
