While Layne worked for us he did an outstanding job. His knowledge of ingredients used in the supplement industry is above par. What I appreciated about Layne was the fact he never missed work and was very easy to work with. He knows his stuff. Layne started out in our quality control lab and is a very good chemist. He was a problem solver in whatever capacity we utilized Layne's skills. He was an asset and will be for where ever he ends up.

After I graduated college in December '21, Layne McBeath was my first boss at my first professional job. As the R&D Project Coordinator at JW Nutritional, I reported directly to Layne, the Head of R&D. Very soon after taking up this position, I quickly realized that I could not have lucked out on a better supervisor. Layne sets a new standard for balancing professionalism with courtesy and warmth. During our 9 AM meeting pre-caps, he never failed to start off the day on a productive and enthusiastic note. He consistently reacted to my mistakes by providing constructive feedback, encouragement, and advice. This quality lent itself to the flourishing of not just me, but everyone in the R&D department. I can sincerely say that he numbers among the few people worthy of unhesitant, wholehearted trust. On top of that, Layne is a virtuoso in the field of sports nutrition. He constantly demonstrated thorough expertise in the intersection of product development, scale-up, and commercialization, while catering to specific customer needs. Due to his background in chemistry, he could expound upon the properties of an ingredient as it related to product viability, often at as much length as Macbeth's Soliloquy from the famous Shakespearean play. It could not have been a greater pleasure to work with Layne. If you get the chance to collaborate with him, seize it! He will be a highlight of your day and an asset to your success. Dear Layne: thank you for not only starting every day on a high note, but for kickstarting my post-college adult career the same way.
