Layla and I worked together for almost two years and I thoroughly enjoyed all of our collaborations. Layla's beaming positive energy is infectious and makes it easy to face any arising challenges and with her strong social and communication skills she thrives when collaborating with diverse stakeholders. She is incredibly creative and comes up with great ideas. Together, we launched a podcast and organised a range of events and programmes – my highlight was cohosting an award ceremony together. Working with Layla inspired me a lot and I can highly recommend her.

I was in charge of developing the course programme and teaching English A2-B2 level to students aged 18-28 years old. We covered different aspects of the English language, looking at grammar, writing, punctuation, speaking, presenting, as well as reading 'Animal Farm' in a literal and an analytical way to spark discussions and reflections, and to learn vocabulary. This was a great experience where I learnt to manage my time and work closely with people - be it with my colleagues or with the students. I learnt to listen to other's demands and suggestions in order to improve the course and benefit the students. Show less
