  Responsibilities Include: - Managing and conducting a range of quantitative and qualitative research to ensure Departmental projects are aligned to the City's policies and regulatory requirements. - Developing analytical research (using statistical modelling) on the enhancement of the Business Environment and presenting the findings to Senior Project Managers. - Developing, updating and assessing Departmental Business Plans and Strategies. - Extracting and manipulating large economic datasets by using data visualising software to compile reports that provide evidence for Departmental projects for the Executive Director and Senior Management. - Compiling a monthly analytical report which provides evidence of the expenditure of Departmental projects for the Executive Director in preparation for the Portfolio Committee meeting. - Compiling a narrative report of social, political and economic topics to ensure that the Executive Director is aware of trending internal and external news. - Assessing Departmental projects to identify innovative ways to solve key economic and social issues within communities throughout the City and presenting the findings to Top Management. - Managing and developing a monthly correspondence register to ensure the efficiency of the Office of the Executive Director.
