  Land Online remains as the largest IT development project in New Zealand's history ($200m for phase one). I successfully managed and delivered the only work stream to come in on time and under budget. The goal of the project was to provide a standardised Windows NT environment that could meet both project and existing business needs. A series of unique technical limitations existed and Solution Development with a mix of emerging technology and custom code development. This was one of the very first Image based, Managed Operating Environment projects on the planet and used the 96th license for the Image product Ghost ever issued. The ideas and solutions developed in response to business requirements were years ahead of the industry and would become standard practice over the next decade. The development of a universal, hardware agnostic, modular and standardised Operating Environment with Windows NT was extremely adventurous in 1999 & the success of the project in meeting business requirements cannot be underestimated.
