      There's nothing like closing up a retail store while being serenaded by the roar of a live lion. I worked full time during the busy summer months and part time during the rest of the year. I supervised the sales floor and employees, scheduling breaks, till assignments and performed closing duties of the main store and a satellite store. I also trained new cashiers on a computerized Point of Sale system, and received, shipped and stocked merchandise. It was amazing to meet guests from all over the world and also neighborhood families who would come back time and again. One of my favorite memories is watching a group of monks walk past the African Savanna, their saffron robes blowing in the wind. Show less
