      The Polo Fields Foundation of Michigan, along with the Stanley L. & Phyllis Berger Family Foundation is hosts an annual golf outing and gala. For the past three years, the "Charity Begins at Home"​ Golf Outing and Gala has benefitted North Star Reach, a provisional member of the SeriousFun Children's Network founded by Paul Newman. This camp is currently being built and is slated to open spring of 2016. It will offer life changing camp experiences for children with serious medical challenges from around the Great Lakes region at no charge.
