    • Member of the Board - Corporate Affairs
      • Jan 2016 - Dec 2016

Tietokilta ry is the student association for computer science students at Aalto University with around 650 members. I worked for a year as a member of the board with my main responsibility being corporate affairs. My biggest achievements during my year was doubling the guild's corporate sponsorships and changing the way Tietokilta handles corporate affairs by launching a new program, TiK Partners. Responsibilities included weekly meetings with the board, meeting with corporations (with a bit over 50 corporate meetings during the year), brainstorming with companies in finding new and fun ways for them to reach our students, selling sponsorships, and holding events such as hackathons, workshops, excursions and recruitment events. All in all the year was an incredible learning experience and has provided me with an amazing insight into our industry. Show less
