Interior Designer II
-
Dec 2020 - Mar 2023
Designing residential projects for clients and VIPs • Communicating, meeting client needs, and providing an excellent client experience • Sourcing furniture and Budgeting • Creating scaled layouts and 3D renderings • Self-branding and self-managingAs a Havenly E-Designer, I design residential projects for clients who live all around the United States, including special VIP projects. I communicate with clients to find new ways to meet their needs and deliver an excellent experience daily. Through Havenly, we provide sourced furniture and décor from retail, trade, and wholesale vendors for each project, and I work to stick to each client's budget. I stay up to date on current trends and modify desired looks to fit each client's taste. I complete all projects using Photoshop as my main tool. With plenty of client feedback, I work to create mood boards, scaled layouts, and 3D renderings that convey the overall look and feel of each new design and how it will fit in the room. I have also learned how to self-brand through this role, and I have enjoyed building and promoting my portfolio and Instagram with beautiful designs. Show less

Interior Design Winter Intern
-
Dec 2019 - Jan 2020
As a continuation of my summer internship, I was asked to return during my winter break, picking up where I left off. I assisted the Hospitality Studio with FF&E orders, communicated with reps, and worked on conceptual packaging for project proposals. In addition to these responsibilities, I worked on building specification binders, modeled custom furniture pieces in Revit, and developed two concept ideas for a couple of upcoming hotel projects. I enjoyed continuing building relationships with the team through collaboration in the office as well as joining in on after-work social gatherings such as playing mini golf and running a 5k. Interior Design Summer Intern
-
May 2019 - Aug 2019
As an intern at Baskervill, I spent most of my time working with the Hospitality studio. I worked closely with my supervisors and designers to make FF&E selections, corresponded with reps, and refined my Revit and AutoCAD skills. I was given the opportunity to learn from highly skilled interior designers and architects, while assisting them with their current projects. In addition to working on the firm's projects, I was also tasked to collaborate with the other summer interns to design an office space for Baskervill's future use. Overall, this internship was incredibly valuable to me. I learned so much over the course of the summer and I am excited to apply what I learned to my future projects. Show less

Summer School Security Desk Attendant
-
Jul 2017 - Aug 2017
During my summer break, I was the Security Desk Attendant for Tussing Elementary's Pre-K Prep. I was responsible for ensuring the safety of all students and faculty during school hours. In high school, I was an aid for the school security desk, and this experience provided insight on how to perform in this position. Not only was I provided the opportunity to work with some of my former teachers, but I was also able to see the soon-to-be kindergartners become excited to begin their educations. Responsibilities: - Monitored the main school entrances - Maintained security procedures - Greeted all visitors and required appropriate identification for all persons entering the property - Assisted visitors with directions and secured proper identification - Assisted all school personnel and police in handling emergencies or disruptive situations - Performed other related tasks as assigned or required Show less
