Cyber Surgery is a startup developping a robotic assistant for spinal surgeries. The initial idea which allowed the startup creation was a validation concept. The mechanical design applies to every part of the assistant: the assistant cart, the instruments, the disposable kits, etc. Integrated in a multi-team organization, with strong dependencies between them: robotics, software, electrical, electronic, quality, innovation. Innovative solutions are applied both to the product design and the engineering process.This is as much creating a product as creating a company. COUTH Industrial Marking Systems is the leading manufacturer of marking machines. We design and manufacture dot-peen and scribing marking units for Direct Part Marking (DPM). Our market is global, our customers are global and our product is global. Key markets are Automotive Industry, Oil&Gas, Steel Industry and aeronautics. The increasing need of traceability has strong links with marking. Thanks to our product's quality, performance and reliability, COUTH is regarded as a technical partner due to its values. We offer the products that are demanded by the market as well as custom solutions. As Technical Manager I'm part of the comittee which ellaborates the Business Plan for the company's strategy. One of its support documents is the Marketing Plan, which relies on the Product heavily. The actions detailed in the Business Plan are traduced in specific projects which allow a year-basis planning. These projects can be be R&D related or product development, with a resource plan behind. This last year we have developed two new marking technologies, added to the already existing ones (dot-peening and scribing). Unfortunately these technologies can't be unveiled yet (expected June'18). At the same time, we offer custom solutions based on our marking technologies (both current ones and the new ones). We have a really high success rate in offers which become purchase orders. We prioritize safety and quality. This begins with the first contact with the customer, where a technical office representative gives a view of the solution. Our marking units have an electromechanical marking head plus an electronic controller. We have placed the COUTH brand on top of all competitors in terms of quality and performance. Responsable de equipos electromecánicos en dos proyectos: METRO DE SEVILLA - Equipo de Frenos - Equipo de Aire Acondicionado - Equipo Auxiliar de Areneros METRO DE BRUSELAS - Rampa PMR - Sistema inteligente de engrase de pestaña En ambos proyectos, la responsabilidad de gestionar un equipo implica ser el interlocutor entre todos los departamentos y el proveedor o fabricante. Los diferentes departamentos requieren un flujo de información en cada fase del proyecto, cuyas entregas deben seguir un planning previamente acordado. El trabajo de definición del equipo comienza durante la fase de compra del mismo, para lo cual se debe definir un documento de especificaciones que sirve de base para la solicitud de ofertas. La labor del responsable es asimismo asistir al responsable de compras en su tarea de obtener el mejor producto en unas condiciones económicas favorables. En fases más posteriores debe hacer seguimiento de la integración del mismo, requiriendo documentos (instrucciones, protocolos de pruebas, certificados, etc) y asistiendo finalmente a la validación final de los equipos. Durante todo el proceso son habituales las reuniones con el cliente en las que se debe contestar a demandas del cliente y justificar las decisiones técnicas. Debido a la utilidad que suponía de cara a futuros proyectos, desarrollé diferentes hojas de cálculo cuya validez se contrastó en los dos proyectos mencionados y me consta que se siguieron empleando en nuevos proyectos una vez que diera por terminado por ciclo en CAF.
