  I am an experienced educator with specialist skills in the management, support and mentoring of teenagers and young adults. My experience has been shaped by a commitment to the wellbeing, resilience and success of the young people I have had the privilege of working with over my career. I strive to build enduring professional relationships with all students and support those who face significant and sometimes, monumental life challenges in their final years of school. My professional and personal approach to leadership and pastoral roles has been one of compassion, consistency and meaningful communication. I am most proud of the many healthy, successful and happy individuals who leave our school, and return years later, to reflect on the positive experiences during their time at school. I believe that the human elements of education are essential for living well. I strive to develop student capabilities in problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, emotional intelligence and clear judgement. Encouraging academic and personal success and developing respectful, healthy and relevant connections with and between, students, parents, colleagues and the community remain the focus of my career. In all contexts of school life, I aim to create powerful learning experiences that engage students, teach life skills and encourage a deep and active connection with learning.
