Laurence and I worked on a division, multi geography strategy work that led to significant changes to the downstream portfolio of assets. He brought clear minded problem solving skills to bear on the work and was very enthusiastic throughout the intensive assignment period. Laurence is a team player and is able to inspire the best in team members.

James Gee

Appointed to a 3rd 4 year term to support the FAMU foundation in the fiduciary management of its assets and its direct support to the academic mission of the University. ----------------------- Currently, I am Chairing a fundraising effort on behalf of Florida A&M University. The special committee is titled "Honoring our Heroes". This current effort is the first activity to “Honor our Heroes” by the FAMU Foundation. When you visit other great Universities, one should notice that the campuses are sprinkled with artwork dedicated to the preservation of the heart and soul of the institution - Its most precious commodity - The people that served as its greatest ambassadors. It’s important that Florida A&M also memorialize the rich legacy of this great university. That’s why I am proud to lead this this effort to raise money for a statue posthumously of, Dr. Frederick S. Humphries, To be clear this not just about Dr. Humphries, it is our intention that this effort be the first of many statues for those who have come before us and left an indelible mark on so many; the Honorable Carrie Meek whom left us over the past few days, Dr. William P. Foster, Dr. Sybil C. Mobley, Althea Gibson, Dr. Gore, Rev. Moses General Miles, John Thompson, Dr. Lesalle Lefall, Jake Gaither and Dr. Walter Smith to name only a few. Please honor the legacy of a FAMU hero (My Hero), Dr. Frederick S. Humphries. If he impacted your life in a meaningful way please give today to secure that all that he fought for at multiple HBCU’s, in particular, Tennessee State University and Florida A&M University will live forever. #celebratingourheros #humphrieserrarattlers #FAMU #FAMUrising #Blackexcellence #HBCU Please give at the below link: http://www.famurising.com/ Who’s your Hero from your University or College?
